On Tuesday, April 30, 2019, Under the Patronage of the German Jordanian University (GJU) President Prof. Manar Fayyad the University organized a ceremony to celebrate the Third Cultural Exhibition in presence of the Vice Presidents Dr. Dorit Schumann and Dr. Atef Kharabsheh and a number of representatives from Arab and Foreign Embassies and Cultural Attachés.

This ceremony which is organized by the Deanship of Student Affairs at the University every year aims to celebrate the cultural diversity of its students within the university and to strengthen the ties and connections between the students, which enriches the university, especially as it includes about (38) Arab and foreign communities.

The Dean of Student Affairs, Dr. Raed Khasawneh said in his speech at the ceremony that this Third Cultural Exhibition coincides with the International Day of Cultural Diversity for Dialogue and Development. Stressing that the students today are ambassadors of their countries to Jordan and tomorrow will be ambassadors of Jordan to their countries to contribute in the cultural exchange, which will raise and strengthen bonds of brotherhood and love among the peoples of the world in general and students of GJU in Jordan in particular.

The ceremony, which was attended by the Administrative and Academic family of the university, included national folkloric performances, Palestinian and Iraqi dances, Yemeni, Egyptian, Sudanese, Armenian and Greek dances, as well as a Syrian sketch, a German and English song.

The ceremony also included an exhibition of popular food and traditional costumes, representing the civilizations and culture of each country.
