A representative from the University of Geneva Prof. Barbara Moser-Mercer accompanied with the Deputy Head of Mission -Embassy of Switzerland, Amman , Terence Billeter visited GJU to discuss possible ways of collaboration between the two universities. 

During the meeting that was held in the presence of GJU President, Prof. Natheer Abu. Obeid, who in his turn welcomed the guests and expressed the GJU’s interest to establish cooperation with the University of Geneva.

The Vice President for International Affairs Prof. Anton Mangstl, spoke about GJU, its establishment, schools and programs; explaining about the German dimension and cultural diversity of GJU that made it a unique model and tale of mixing two cultures among other universities in the region.

On her side, Prof. Barbara expressed her delight for visiting GJU and was impressed by its scientific and outstanding level. She also hoped that there would be further international collaboration between both universities in various interest areas.
