The President of the German Jordanian University (GJU), Prof. Ala’aldeen Al-Halhouli, discussed during a meeting with Huawei Technologies delegation in Jordan ways to strengthen and develop the strategic and academic relations between the two sides.

During the meeting, both sides discussed the establishment of Huawei ICT Academy at GJU to train students on the latest technology in various topics such as artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, and the internet of things, also to provide them with the opportunity to obtain international certificates that qualify them for the labor market.

The company's delegation included the Director of Public Relations in Jordan, Idris Al-Naimat, the Director of the Jordanian Access Services Department, Salama Hazeem, the Director of the Ecosystem for Information and Communication Technology Talents, Nouran Abu Rabei, and from the University, the Dean of the School of Electrical Engineering and Information Technology (SEEIT), Prof. Firas Al-Hawari, Vice Dean of SEEIT, Dr. Osama Badarneh, the Head of Computer Engineering Department, Dr. Ammar Gharaibeh,  Vice Dean of the Deanship of Innovation, Technology Transfer and Entrepreneurship, Dr. Alaa Khalifa, and the Director of the Information Systems and Technology Center, Eng. Anas Al Ksasbeh.
