The German Jordanian University in collaboration with the Directorate of Education of Naour distributed winter coats to 130 students of Prince Hashim Secondary School for Boys and Al-Adaseyah Secondary School.

The initiative was organized to provide the GJU students who are involved in Social Entrepreneurship course with the needed skills of entrepreneurship and creativity to serve the local community.       

The Dean of Student Affairs Dr. Yousef Al.abdallat, said that this initiative is part of the GJU's mission and duty towards the local community, adding that GJU has embarked to provide the local community with several initiatives, free medical days, training courses and many volunteering campaigns.

Reem Rabadi, Instructor of Social Entrepreneurship Course emphasized that it is very important to interact with the local community through encouraging students to volunteer and organize a humanitarian initiatives   

For their parts, Director for the Directorate of Education of Naour, Kahled Mahameed, the principles of the schools and the students praised the great efforts of GJU by drawing a smile on the children’s faces.

The event was attended by Dr. Aqeel Al-Qazwini from the School of Applied Medical Sciences, Dr. Haitham Al.Thawabih from the School of Applied Humanities and Languages,  Fawaz Alssagar Assistant to the Dean of Student Affairs, Muneer Bani Younis Director of Public Relations and Marketing Department, and the representative of the local community at the Consultations and Training Center Hayel Hlalat.
