The German Jordanian University (GJU) celebrated the graduation of the first batch of participants in the Energy Efficiency Training Program of the German Energy Academy in Jordan. The program comes within the project to sustain the energy partnership with Jordan, supported by the German Agency for International Cooperation (GIZ).

The ceremony was attended by the Director of the Consulting and Training Center (CTC) at GJU, Mr. Abdul Hakim Arabiyat, Director of the International Projects Office, Eng. Rasha Al-Hamoud, Academy Director and Project Coordinator, Dr. Ayman Batayneh, GIZ representatives, and some of the Academy's accredited trainers.

During the two-month course prepared for accreditation by the German Chamber of Industry and Commerce (AHK), the trainees received the necessary theoretical and practical knowledge for the labor market. Furthermore, the trainees will be evaluated and receive the German certificate (AHK) to assist them in obtaining unique job opportunities. 

On his part, Batayneh stressed the importance of the certificate, as it is the first of its kind in the local market. At the end of the ceremony, Arabiyat handed over certificates to the graduates.
