In cooperation with the Iraqi Ministry of Health and Gasgous Group Dr. Abdo Mahali from the School of Applied Medical Sciences at the German Jordanian University, held a training course on the biosimilars industry and the international laws governing this industry for two consecutive days in the Iraqi capital, Baghdad.

The course included an exchange of experiences in the field of manufacturing these medicines and registration methods, in addition to manufacturing mechanisms and methods of distinguishing biosimilars from biocopied drugs, and discussing a comprehensive proposal to localize the manufacture of these medicines in the Arab world in general and in Iraq in particular.

The organizers expressed their happiness with the course’s organization and their continuous aspiration for further cooperation and exchange of experiences with GJU, which may greatly benefit the health of patients by providing medicines at affordable prices and enhancing Arab pharmaceutical security.
