The German Jordanian University (GJU) through the Deanship of Innovation, Technology Transfer and Entrepreneurship (DI-TECH) held a workshop on PRIMA info day 2023 and strengthening r&i capacities in Jordan.
The Partnership in Scientific Research and Innovation in the Mediterranean Area (PRIMA) is a platform to support researchers and scientific research projects in member states, which includes nineteen Mediterranean countries, including Jordan.
During the workshop, Mr. Hussam Khasawneh from the Higher Council for Science and Technology (HCST), Deputy Director of PRIMA, Dr. Omar Amawi and Project Officer, Mohamed Wageih presented an overview of the program and achievements over years, (2018-2022), funding structures and the main PRIMA sections, which are Farming Systems, Agri- Food, Water Management, and Nexus theme.
In addition, the workshop included three sessions on how to develop a competitive proposal, build your consortium, useful tools, where GJU academics engaged in an open discussion.
