The Vision Rehabilitation Center (VRC) at the German Jordanian University held a workshop for Queen Rania Faculty for Childhood students at the Hashemite University entitled "Introduction to Visual Rehabilitation", in which they were introduced to the comprehensive rehabilitation services provided by (VRC), the impact of these services on improving life quality for those with visual disabilities, including comprehensive assessment of visual functions, assistive and magnifying devices, training in visual skills and the use of assistive devices.
During the workshop, the students were toured using simulation glasses, carrying out various activities to simulate the challenges facing people who are visually impaired and thus better understanding of the impact of visual impairment on daily life, job performance and life quality.
