On Thursday, November 17, 2016 the GJU President Prof. Natheer Abu.Obeid honored GJU/SABE students on gaining a local, national and regional awards, and their supervisors at Darat Othman Bdeir in the presence of Eng. Bashar Al Bitar Chairman of the architecture division at the Jordanian Engineers Association.

Prof. Abu Obeid congratulated the students and Professors on being awarded and expressed GJU’s  deep pride, saying that these are a great achievements for the university and pointed out to the GJU keenness in supporting its students and provide them with the expertise and knowledge.

For his part Eng. Bashar Al Bitar asserted that Jordan Engineers Association is proud of GJU’s achievements and it’s forward steps toward excellence although it is still a young university. He also pointed out that JEA recently signed a memorandum of understanding with GJU in order to train a number of recent graduate engineers from the local community in Naour/Madaba.

Dr. Mohammad Yaghan, former dean of SABE emphasized that students and their supervisors have shown hard work, determination and perseverance that helped them to get results as envisaged  and achieve success.                                             

Dr. Ziyad Haddad , dean of SABE , winning students and their supervising professors  expressed their gratitude and appreciation to the university represented by its President Prof.Natheer Abu Obeid for his continuous support.

It is worthy to mention that SABE won the first awards in 4 local , national and regional competitions : The graduation projects competition by Jordan Engineers Association , Omrania | CSBE Student Award for Architectural Design ,Tamayouz International Award 2016 (Excellence in Architecture graduation projects worldwide) and ISUSTAIN Awards 2016.
