For the first time, the German Language Center (GLC) at the German Jordanian University (GJU) honors the best German Language student for the first semester 2019/2020, On Thursday, March 5, 2020, in the presence of the President of GJU Prof. Manar Fayyad, Vice President Prof. Ralf Rosskopf, GLC teachers and students.
Prof. Manar congratulated the students on their excellent achievements and encouraged them to keep up the good work and assist their colleagues to follow their path, stressing on the importance of the German language.
Jacqueline Rogler, the Director of the German Language Center, welcomed the audience, stating that for the first time, the GLC and GJU are rewarding students for their excellent performance in the German language classes.
She said that studying at GJU requires not only the study of a major, However, it also prepares the students for a wonderful educational exchange to gain diverse experiences that shape their personality and make them more attractive, and competitive on the labor market.
The honorees stood out of about 2000 language learners in six language levels, German 1 to German 6 at the GLC. They have achieved the best results at their German level.
At the end of the ceremony, Fayyad handed certificates of honor to Hamza Allam Adel Abuseedo D1, Khaled Mahmoud Fayez Ghanem D2, Asem Aldigs and Dina Halawa D3, Abdullah Al Jamal D4, Ehab Alhawari and Cathrine Ahmad D5, and for D6 Jude Alsaadi.
