Hult Prize Kicks off at the German Jordanian University on the 6th of December with an info session hosting the national directors Mr.Ayman Arandi and Mr.Mohammad Sammour on the university's campus!

 The Hult Prize is the world's largest student competition for social good.

Established in 2010 by Bertil Hult, the annual, year-long competition crowd-sources ideas from MBA and college students after challenging them to solve a pressing social issue around topics such as food security, water access, energy, and education. The Prize is a partnership between Hult International Business School and the Clinton Global Initiative

The winning student team is awarded 1 million USD in seed capital to launch their idea as a social enterprise. 

The Hult Prize methodology focuses on launching disruptive social enterprises that are impact centered, profit-minded, and market driven.

The German Jordanian University has always been on the track when it comes to supporting entrepreneurial mentalities either through their Programs Innovation & Entrepreneurship (PIE) or connecting its students with the network of entrepreneurship.

 

Saja Badran a bright innovative logistics student at the German Jordanian university has been announced by the Hult Prize foundation to be the first on GJU Campus Director 2017/2018. She in her role announced the on-campus committee which consist of the brightest minds at GJU Yasmine Abdeen, Haneen Tahapsom, Mohammad Shammout, Ammar Budair, and Dana Shayyeb. With this spectacular group of students, they have got their university on the movement!

 

As mentioned, the Hult Prize is a competition that consist of 5 stages. It starts with the on-campus stage, where campus director along with his team organizes an on-campus competition to announce  3 winners from the university which for GJU will take place on the 19th of December, the first 2 winning teams will then go to the regionals on March, that is hosted in 15 countries around the world,  later if passed to the accelerator in Hult Castle on July/August, then Finals will be on September in New York! the 3rd winning team will be participating in a national level which takes place on May.
