The German Jordanian University represented by its President Professor Natheer Abu Obeid offers its sincerest condolences at the death of the Palestinian Scientist, Professor Ali Nayfeh who passed away during his staying at the United States.
Prof. Ali Nayfeh has been a University Distinguished Professor of engineering at Virginia Tech since 1976, and the author of several books and hundreds of research papers, and has supervised over 60 doctoral dissertations.
He won the 2014 Prestigious Franklin Institute Award in Engineering. He held honorary doctorates from Marine Technical University (Russia), Technical University of Munich (Germany), and Politechnika Szczecińska (Poland).
Professor Ali will be remembered as an extremely creative and thoughtful scientist, our immediate thoughts and prayers are with Professor Ali’s family.
