On Tuesday, December 17, 2019, the Community Affairs Office at the German Jordanian University (GJU) organized workshops on Decoupage Art and baking for the Arabic Language and Culture Program students (ALC), in the presence of The President of GJU Prof. Manar Fayyad, Vice President Prof. Atef Kharabsheh and GJU's staff.

Trainer Randa Hadid gave the Decoupage Art workshop, where she introduced the students to the art and its techniques, engaged them to perform and decorate cups, and plates by gluing special papers on them.

On another hand, the students were introduced to traditional food and pastries. They had the chance to mix the dough on their own and bake it too.

During the workshop, a musical segment was performed by Ziyad Al Thawabi to emphasize the aim of the activity in introducing the culture to ALC students and interacting with the local community. ALC program aims to attract students from Germany and Europe to learn the Arabic language and culture.
