On Saturday, September 2021, The German Jordanian University (GJU) organized an Open Day in (Jabal Amman campus / Ibrahim Hashem Building) to introduce prospective students and their parents to the specializations offered by the university and its various services.
The President of GJU, Prof. Ala’aldeen Al-Halhouli, indicated during the open day that the university combines the requirements of Jordanian higher education, as it adheres to its accreditation rules in addition to the German accreditation, similar to the applied German universities.
He added that the university is distinguished by providing the specializations required for the local, regional and international labor market. He explained that GJU students travel to Germany during their fourth year to study one semester at a German applied university and a training semester in factories and German partner companies, which reflect tremendously on their German language efficiency, culture awareness, and personality.
Representatives of GJU’s Schools, Admission and Registration, Finance Departments, the International Office, the Office for Industrial Links, the German Language Center, the Services Department, and the Deanship of Student Affairs participated in the event where a thorough explanation was conducted to the attendees about the university’s majors, services, admission and registration requirement and financial procedures.
It is noteworthy that the Admission and Registration team will be available on Saturdays at the university’s campus in Jabal Amman from 9:00 AM -2:00 PM for admission inquiries.
