The Biomedical Engineering Students club at the German Jordanian University (GJU) organized a symposium on “Virtual Reality Technology and its Applications”, presented by the CEO of the International VRAR Academy for Research and Training, Professor Mike Jabarin, in the presence of the President of GJU, Prof. Ala’aldeen al-Halhouli, faculty members at the School of Applied Medical Sciences (SAMS), the General Director of the Academy, Mr. Nidal Kharma, and the Executive Director, Mrs. Heba Iqleem.
 
Dr. Al-Halhouli said that virtual reality is the lead of the future, indicating its importance in education and related activities and the many possibilities that virtual reality opens in improving the educational process and making it attractive and interactive.

He also thanked the Academy for their attendance, hoping to build a strategic partnership in the future to integrate this technology into the university's plans.

Jabareen spoke about the interactive electronic environment using smart simulation technology and its benefits in improving reality in practical and daily social life.

Jabareen also addressed the areas in which virtual reality technology intervenes, the requirements and competencies required to translate this technology into reality, motivating the students to learn this field because of its huge returns at the individual level and in society.

AAt the end of the symposium, which was attended by the club advisor, Dr. Walid Al-Zyoud, club president student Shamil Qanash, and of the Deanship of Student Affairs representative, Raed Qaddah, videos about the uses of virtual reality were displayed, and the students used virtual reality devices and went through the experiment. Q&A session followed.
