A team from the German Jordanian University (GJU) consisting of Dr. Jumana Maatou, Dr. Walid Al-Zyoud, Dr. Muhammad Khanfar, Dr. Naseem Al-Numan from the School of Applied Sciences (SAMS), and Dr. Ala’ Khalifeh from the School of Electrical Engineering and Information Technology (SEEIT), participated in the judging and training committees for “Creativity Award” for innovation and cultural competition organized by the Abdul Hameed Shoman Foundation.”

“Creativity Award” was launched in 1988 and lasted until 2003, and it is concerned with many literary fields, including "performance; artistic, scientific innovation", while the award covers the fields of "literary creativity (article and poetry)", "performative creativity (music and dance)", "Artistic Creativity (Arabic Calligraphy and Painting)".

Scientific Innovations. "Abdeh" was relaunched in 2018 with the goal of encouraging children's creative energies and forming a serious shift towards knowledge culture and authentic creativity biased towards life, man, and the future, and in line with the institution's knowledge and enlightenment role in serving future generations.
 
Recently, the team attended the attended the ceremony honoring the winners of the Abdul Hameed Shoman Prize for Creative Production for Young Children (Creative) as members of the jury and training committees for the eighteenth session for the year 2021-2022.
