Vision Training Center at the German Jordanian University provided magnifying devices to a number of visual impairment charities, which serve the persons with low vision.   

Those charities were provided by the magnifying devices of a value of 4000 JOD , that will help 109 persons with low vision.

During the event, President of GJU, Prof. Natheer Abu Obeid praised the efforts of those organizations in providing persons with low vision with the necessary care and services to integrate them into society. 

For her part , Dr. Nathalie Bussières, Director of vision training center said that we at GJU and especially  at the vision training center believe that providing magnifying devices to persons with low vision is not a privilege but a right.

Representatives of these organizations,  Saudi center for rehabilitation and Training of Blind Women,  Al-Hareth Charity Society for Albinism, Mercy Corps, Arabian Medical Relief (AMR) and  Friendship association of the blind praised the GJU vision training center initiative and efforts and hoped for further initiatives and aids to help persons with low vision.
