The German Jordanian University (GJU) ranked one of the top 1000 universities in the world as announced by the World Ranking for Universities (QS) for the year 2020 for the second year in a row.

The QS is considered one of the most prominent classifications in the world, where four Jordanian universities were included in it. GJU was distinguished by scientific research and its focus on specialties.

QS Classification- 2020 is based on six indicators; the academic reputation, the reputation among the recruitment companies, the ratio of faculty members per student, citations of the academic members, international academic members, and international students at the university. It is worth mentioning that GJU was internationally recognized for its international academic members and international students.

The President of GJU, Prof. Manar Fayyad, stressed that these results indicate the success of the distinctive model at the university, which takes into consideration the bilateral culture between the Jordanian and the German society. In addition to its focus on the applied education, which result in outstanding educational outcomes, including the high rate of employment among GJU’s graduates and the increase of scientific researches citations.
