On Wednesday, April 24, 2019, the German Jordanian University (GJU) represented by the President of GJU Prof. Manar Fayyad renewed a cooperation agreement with the DB Engineering & Consulting GmbH, represented by Peter Josef Haaks, Sales / Production German Market Representative.

The agreement which was firstly signed in 2012, affirms the strong and successful collaboration between the two sides. DB Engineering & Consulting GmbH extended the new agreement to offer internships and training courses for GJU students, with the aim of providing young academics insight into the activities of international transport and logistics, besides introducing them to professional practice.

In the presence of Vice Presidents Prof. Atef Kharabsheh, Prof Dorit Schumann, the Dean of the School of Management and Logistic Sciences (SMLS), Dr. Malek AL Sharairi, the Dean of the School of Natural Resources Engineering and Management (SNREM), Dr. Munjed AL Sharif, and the Director of the Office for Industrial Links (OIL) Britta Kähler, the two parties discussed the establishment of a master program in Railway engineering field.

It is worthy to mention that GJU graduates and current employees at DB Engineering & Consulting attended the agreement signing, where they spoke about their educational backgrounds and the support they received from the university throughout their study.

Prof. Manar Fayyad expressed her proudness to witness successful stories of GJU’s graduates, hoping for further prosperity in the future.
