The German Jordanian University signed an agreement with ISRAR Engineering to support students and researchers at GJU to raise their practical level through developing and supervising projects, exchanging research and scientific ideas in renewable energy, automation, and industrial applications.

The agreement was signed by the President of the University, Prof. Ala’aldeen Al-Halhouli, and on behalf of Dr. Mahmoud Lahlouh, the company’s General Director, Eng. Ahmad Zararah. The agreement stated to strengthen cooperation frameworks in research, training, and supervision in the disciplines of Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Communications Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering. In addition, it included conducting free educational courses and programs, holding joint conferences and workshops at the local and international levels.

Dr. Al-Halhouli stressed the importance of extracting products from the proposed ideas and projects and the benefits of these projects to society to confirm the usefulness of partnerships between the private sector and educational institutions in developing local and global industries.

Eng. Zararah stated that ISRAR seeks to create success stories through the agreement, mentioning that the ongoing training with university students shows promising results and noticeable progress.

The signing ceremony was attended by the Dean of Innovation, Technology Transfer and Entrepreneurship, Dr. Nidal Al-Shawarwa, Dean Assistant, Dr. Ala' Khalifeh, Director of the Office for Industrial Link, Britta Kähler, and Dr. Ahmed Harb, faculty member from the School Engineering of Natural Resources and Management (SNREM).
