The German Jordanian University (GJU) and the Jordan Advanced Machining Company signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). The President, Prof. Ala’aldeen Al-Halhouli, signed the MoU on behalf of the university and the General Manager, Eng. Khalil Dbeit on behalf of the company.

The MoU aims to provide GJU students with practical training, attract them for job opportunities, and establish an incubator for business and pioneering projects in digital manufacturing, in addition to the exchange of scientific experiences and applied processes between the two sides to enhance joint coordination in industry.

Dr. Al-Halhouli pointed to the importance of partnership between the university and private sector companies, considering universities are national institutions with great potentials that have a role in promoting the industrial sector, stressing the need to build joint projects that contribute to the service and development of Jordanian society and to attract German industries to have headquarters in the university and the country in general.

For his part, Eng. Dbeit praised the university's administrative and technical expertise in the administrative and engineering fields, expressing his aspiration to build a partnership that contributes to the development of national industries.

The signing ceremony was attended by the Dean of the School of Applied Technical Sciences (SATS), Dr. Safwan Al-Tarazi, the Dean Assistant for Industrial Links and Training, Dr. Nidal Shwawreh, the Director of the Office for Industrial Links, Britta Kähler, and from the company, the Director of Human Resources and Training, Ola Hasan, and the Head of the Human Resources Department Hamza Al Zwairi.
