Madaba Club for people with disabilities has organized a race competition with the cooperation of All Jordan Youth Institution (Madaba Branch) and German Jordanian University (GJU) within the Kingdom’s celebrations for His Majesty King Abdullah’s II Birthday.

The race took off from Directorate of Education in Madaba with the participant of 150 racers and ended at Ahmad Qutaish Al Azaydeh Hall

Club Head Dr. Omar Al Njada valued the Hashmit leadership for caring for people with disabilities to overcome obstacles to take part in the society. He also appreciated GJU’s support and interaction with the local community in Madaba.

Assistant to the President of GJU Mr. Abdulhakeem Arrabiyyat said that the support of this race comes from his majesty’s directions toward  people with disabilities to engage them in the society as their role and contributions are very vital, stressing that GJU through the local community affairs office works to serve the local community and the near areas, adding that they constantly organize training courses  in different subjects such as languages, computer skills, communication skills and entrepreneurship, where more than 300 participants benefited from in Madaba and Na’our

At the end of the celebration; awards and medals were distributed to the winners and the participants from local clubs, organizers, traffic administration and community policing.
