Students form the German Jordanian University marched side by side with the President, Prof. Natheer Abu Obeid and other staff members around the campus, on a demonstration of support and solidarity to the Palestinian resistance, in the light of the recent violations of holy sites in Jerusalem and across Palestine.
The demonstration comes as one of the several peaceful protests organized by other Jordanian universities, all in support of the resistance and condemning the killing of civilians and attacks on Al Aqsa Mosque. Students from different background, religions and origins condemned the silence of the International community towards the situation and stressed on the need to find an immediate solution.
Prof. Abu Obeid said that we should protest the assaults on our people in Palestine, to fight for their right to live, as well as support them not only by demonstrations but also by donations, pointing out to the Hashemite leadership’s keenness to achieve peace to the Palestinian people.
