German Jordanian University believes in the value of having good relationships with the students, listening to them and supporting them, therefore GJU seeks to organize every year a series of meetings where it gathers the students with the President, Vice President and the academic staff as well.
On Tuesday , 29th of November, and Speaking to the new students from the School of Applied Medical Sciences SAMS (Biomedical Engineering and pharmaceutical and chemical engineering) Prof. Manar Fayyad , the GJU Vice President welcomed all students and urged them to start their journey at GJU with full faith and seriousness. She also stressed the importance of the German year and how they would benefit from it as students and gain a theoretical and practical experience.
For his part Dr. Adnan Al-Lahham Acting Dean of SAMS who expressed the school’s pride of having such a students, urging them to work hard and wishing them the best of luck.
During the meeting, each of Dr. Akeel Al-Kazwini Vice Dean, SAMS academic and administrative staff, Director of International Office , Director of PR and Marketing , Director of Athletic Activities, representative from Office for Industrial links and some of exchange officers , highlighted their main responsibilities and offered their services and help to all students anytime they need.
Furthermore, students discussed with the vice president and school staff their main concerns at university related to their study life.
