On Wednesday 18th of July 2018, the German Jordanian University (GJU), in the presence of the President of GJU Prof. Manar Fayyad, Vice President Dr. Atef Kharabsheh and a number of schools’ deans, hosted the Cultural Attachés and Advisors of the Arab and foreign countries, in addition to the directors of foreign cultural centers located in Jordan.

Prof. Manar Fayyad stressed the university's keenness to maintain continuous and constructive contact with the relevant academic bodies, indicating the importance of these meetings in reinforcing and strengthening relations, besides providing the latest developments and projects carried out by the university.

Fayyad explained the strategy of the university and its objectives in providing quality and distinctive education to students, by simulating the German applied-sciences model, characterized by their focus on putting knowledge into practice and on promoting knowledge transfer.

She also stressed the importance of the “German Year” where students spend a whole year in Germany, clarifying the huge impact of this experience culturally and socially, in addition to the impact on the students’ personality and skills.

At the end of the meeting, the delegation had a tour at the university’s facilities, including the labs at the School of Applied Medical Sciences (SAMS), the School of Technical Applied Sciences (SATS), and the School of Natural Resources Engineering and Management (SNREM).
