On Wednesday, November 13, 2019, a delegation from Communications Development Company (CDC), visited the German Jordanian University (GJU) to discuss research cooperation opportunities.

The President of GJU Prof. Manar Fayyad welcomed the delegation together with the Dean of Graduate Studies and Scientific Research (GSSR), Dr. Sahel Alawneh, the Dean of the School of Electrical Engineering and Information Technology (SEEIT) Dr. Raed Mesleh and Dr. Omar Hiari - Assistant Professor at the School.

The Delegation, which consisted of Mr. Yazan Mufti, Mr. Sufian Abanda, and Mr. Adnan Mufti discussed the various potential avenues that could be taken to support commercialization and further development of research ideas, including patents, through the creation of spin-off companies.

The meeting concluded by agreeing to the next steps needed to work on formulating a proper framework between the two entities through a research cooperation agreement.
