Fayyad welcomed the students stressing the importance of following the rules in regards to Covid-19 to be safe in Jordan.

Roßkopf encouraged the students to use their time wisely for their online studies at GJU and their study abroad experience.

Stefanie Kirsch, the Director of the IO, said that Even though studying at GJU is offered online and exploring Jordan is limited due to the restrictions of the Covid-19 pandemic, the students were encouraged to explore the country, make new friends also with GJU students, and leave a good impression by being ambassadors for Germany to Jordan.
