According to the universities proficiency exam results for the first semester of the academic year 2017/2018, the German Jordanian University (GJU) has granted advanced places at the two levels of the university proficiency exam.

The exam evaluates students’ abilities and knowledge on two levels, on a macro-level and a micro-level.

On a macro-level, which tests the student's knowledge and skills in scientific research, analysis, critical thinking as well as problem solving, communication, general knowledge, ethics, language and mathematical proficiencies, the German Jordanian University has won second place among other private and public universities, 201-600 students section.

On a micro-level, which tests for the skills that the students are expected to master in their subspecialties fields after graduation. GJU has granted first place in multiple majors such as Architecture, Design and Visual Communication, Logistic Sciences, Pharmaceutical and Chemical Engineering, Energy Engineering and Translation: Arabic, English, and German.

Business Administration, International Accounting, Mechatronics, Biomedical and Communication Engineering has won the second place.

Computer Engineering has won third place among other universities.

GJU has indeed earned this accomplishment, attaining top places among national universities in the University proficiency exams is a grand achievement. Congratulation to all GJU family members; staff and students.
