I send you this message today with appreciation and respect for the final time as the President of the German Jordanian University.
It was a great pleasure to receive the decision of hiring Prof. Ala’aldeen Al-Halhouli as the new President of the German Jordanian University, a well-deserved success, and I wish him the best of luck.
My tenure as GJU Vice President and President for the last eight years was incredibly exciting and rewarding. All this was made possible by the hardworking contributions of all GJU members crowned with successes and achievements.
To GJU students, allow me to say that I have been privileged to be part of your activities, success stories, achievements, and graduation ceremonies. I urge you to stick to the covenant and raise the name of GJU and our beloved Jordan high.
Thank you to our supporters and partners in Germany and Jordan, the Jordanian Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research, the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD), the project office in Magdeburg University, the German Embassy, our partner universities and industrial partners. Without this support, we would have never been able to achieve the reputation that we have today.
GJU has proven itself as one of the best universities in Jordan and the region. It has attained a bright name for academic excellence and achievements; therefore keep up the great work, enjoy life, and celebrate your success.
