The Visual Rehabilitation Center (VRC) at the German Jordanian University celebrated the graduation of the participants in the comprehensive training course in visual rehabilitation in the presence of the Vice President, Prof. Malek Alsharairi, and the Director of the Center Dr. Omaimah Al-Arja.
The course, which aims to build the specialists’ skills in visual rehabilitation and enable them to provide the best services to disabled persons, included visual function assessment, magnification calculation, visual aids, training on visual skills and early intervention topics, education and integration, orientation, mobility and self-reliance skills, in addition to many practical applications using simulation glasses and practical application at the Academy for the Blind.
Dr. Al-Arja congratulated the graduates and their families on the end of this useful and distinctive journey, which marks the beginning of a new chapter in their careers, and its contribution to their acquisition of valuable skills.
At the end of the ceremony, a short video of the graduation projects presented and implemented by the participants was shown, as well as the distribution of certificates to the participants by Prof. Alsharairi.
