On Wednesday 10th of May 2017, GJU with the cooperation of Amman Chamber of Commerce Academy and consultation Training center celebrated the graduation of the second patch of Professional Diploma in Human Resource Management.
Prof. Natheer Abu Obied expressed his pride with GJU’s partnership with Amman Chamber of Commerce Academy which reflects a commitment from both sides, indicating GJU as an active platform for communication between higher education and business sector in Jordan.
Abu Obied clarified that in the past period GJU could strengthen the relationships with the industry not only with German’s, but also Jordan’s institutions who provided support and assistance in the field of applied education.
He pointed that GJU launched a new slogan “Education for Employment and Entrepreneurship” through the program of innovation and Entrepreneur (PIE), that aims to build a culture contributes in changing the quality of education from traditional to innovative approach to assist in supporting the economic development.
Chairman of Amman Chamber of Commerce Mr. Issa Murad, praised the efforts and achievements of the university as it’s a proven example of excellence and superiority in applied education.
He also expressed his admiration and appreciation to the system followed in the university where students have to go for study and internship for one year to Germany for its tremendous benefits on student’s education and personality, suggesting to apply this approach to the professional Diplomas as well.
Instructor Raya Al Naboulsi, presented a speech showing the importance of Professional Diploma and its role in providing the participant with the appropriate skills and knowledge to master their jobs, through the linkage between the theoretical and practical side.
Eighteen participants from human resources graduated from the Professional Diploma in Human Resource Management which includes the following subjects: The Modern Concept and Strategic Frame of Human Resource Management, Planning Human Resource and Defining the Training needs, Attract Choose and Hire the Employees, Professional Competencies, and qualifications, Performance Evaluation Management, Labor legislation.
At the end of the ceremony, Abu Obied and Mr. Issa Murad handed out the certificates to the graduates.
