A group of GJU students visited two public schools in Naur in order to share them time of happiness and joy under the initiative “Faces of Great Joy Around the World” that was organized by “Samaritans purse” office in Jordan in collaboration with the Deanship of Student Affairs at GJU.
This initiative aimed at drawing a smile on the children’s faces through distributing gift-boxes containing chocolates, sweets, and stationeries, because there is nothing quite like the joy on a child’s face when they receive a gift of love.
The event was attended by he Dean of Student Affairs Dr. Yousef Abdallat, Assistant Rector for Administrative Affairs Mr.Abdul Hakim Arabiyat, Mr. Hayel Hilalat, representative of Consultations and Training Center at the university and Assistant Dean of Student Affairs Mr.Fawaz Alsaggar.
It is worthy to mention that Samaritans Purse is a non-governmental organization provides aid to people in physical need, works in more than 100 countries around the world and field offices are located in 20 countries.
