On Monday 16th of April 2018, the International Office (IO) organized a visit to representatives from the Hochschule für Wirtschaft und Umwelt Nürtingen-Geislingen (HFWU) to German Jordanian University (GJU) to discuss cooperation and student exchange.

HFWU representatives met with President of GJU Prof. Manar Fayyad and Vice President Prof. Dorit Schumann, besides partner faculties, School of Natural Resources Engineering and Management (SNREM), School of Management and Logistic Sciences (SMLS) and representatives of Goethe Institute and DAAD Information Center Amman.

Several points were discussed during their visit with the IO such as Flying Faculty program, GJU Staff Mobility Program (Train the trainer), GJU’s outgoing students and the most distinguished attributes that might attract their German students who are intending to stay for one semester abroad.

Representatives also participated in GJU’s Career Fair where they took the chance to interact and introduce themselves directly to the students.
