Under the patronage of His Royal Highness Prince El Hassan bin Talal, the German Jordanian University in collaboration with the Royal Institute for Inter-Faith Studies organized a lecture delivered by Abbote Primate Dr. Notker Wolf, Representative of the World Wide Benedictine Order, under the title of  “The Secret of Successful Leadership”.

Speaking to the audience HRH Prince El Hassan called for emphasizing the concept of “ethical administration” of organizations, industries and companies.  He stressed the importance of the successful leadership in all aspects and how to carry out the responsibility of being a leader in life, mentioning that there is a leader who is responsible for technical affairs; leader for coordinating the interlaced systems, and there is a leader who is responsible for the military affairs.  

HRH Prince El Hassan said that such a dialogue reminds him up to speak about his work experience with more than 500 international organizations in promoting the global human order, and the right of mutual respect that is issuing this year hopefully.

Furthermore, HRH Prince El Hassan praised Dr. Wolf‘s talk specifically about the human dignity, linking it with the steadfastness in life that requires flexibility, objective and scientific approach to deal with the general right.  

For his part, Dr. Wolf outlined the abstract leadership theories, and the shapes of good leadership. He also clarified the differences between the leadership and management, saying that leadership itself is the heart of management. 

He further added that great leaders should be good listeners to their collaborators, giving them an identity, open up with discussions, accept the oppositions and show respect to each individual of them. 

Prof. Natheer Abu Obeid , President of GJU said that it is a pleasure and honor for GJU to have HRH Prince El Hassan bin Talal at the university and grateful for Dr. Wolf to lecture at GJU about very impressive topic, saying that leadership is truly an art.

Following a wide discussion with students at the end of the lecture, HRH Prince El Hassan had an overview of GJU labs and some of graduation projects for Mechatronics Engineering students.
