On Wednesday, 13th March, the School of Applied Technical Sciences (SATS) at the German Jordanian University (GJU), held a workshop about” Intercultural Quality Management: Challenges in QM when working in multicultural teams” by Prof.Dr.Ulrich Bauer, MA, from the University of Applied Sciences Kempton.
The five hours workshop was conducted with the presence of master students and teaching assistants from SATS. The main aim of the workshop was to have an in-depth understanding of how different cultures related to different places affect the concept of quality.
The workshop started by identifying quality management, and how it becomes challenging when working with people from all over the world. The participants were divided into groups and given real-life cases to discuss.
At the end, with an interactive discussion, the lecturer answered questions from the participants.
