The Office for Industrial Links at the German Jordanian University organized a presentation on internship opportunities in Germany within the framework of the preparation days for GJU students who will start their German Year from the second semester 2015/2016. The presentation, which was held on Thursday 4th February, 2016 was conducted by Dr. Olaf Löbl, the CEO of Chance-Mall.
As Dr. Löbl explained in his presentation, Chance-Mall promotes the Arab region to small and medium-sized enterprises in Germany. These so-called Hidden Champions of the German economy provide cutting-edge technology to a global market. While largely unknown to the wider public, they can be global market leaders in their specific products. Dr. Löbl already has arranged a number of successful German-Arab partnerships, not only in the Gulf countries but also in Jordan. He now wants to help his clients, small and medium-sized enterprises in Germany, to develop new and expand existing partnerships with the help of GJU students, amongst others.
The German small and medium-sized enterprises are continuously looking into developing long term cooperation and markets for their products in the Arab region. Here, our GJU students can provide the best of both worlds and bridge the Arab region and Germany. As all our Bachelor students already have to do a 20 week international internship in Germany, this is a very good opportunity for companies and students to develop long-term relationships. The Office for Industrial Links is looking forward to further develop the collaboration with Chance-Mall and would like to thank Dr. Löbl for his continuous support.
