On Wednesday 28th of February 2018, The Cultural Attaché at Iraq Embassy, Dr. Haider Kamel Al-Zaidan, visited the German-Jordanian University (GJU) to discuss ways of cooperation and coordination between the two sides and examine the situation of Iraqi students at the university.

During his meeting with Vice President Dr. Atef Al-Kharabsheh and Iraqi students from various schools and specializations, Al-Zaidan referred to the role of the Cultural Bureau in supporting the students academically, socially and culturally, besides identifying the challenges they may face.

He pointed out to the importance of employing student’s graduation projects in different Iraqi institutions and considering the possibility of benefiting from them to develop the performance of these institutions.

He also encouraged the students to transfer the knowledge and experiences they acquire from GJU and Germany to their country and contribute to its reconstruction during the coming period.

For his part, Dr. Kharabsheh, stressed the value of the Iraqi students at GJU, explaining that the recruitment of university graduates is of high proportions for its unique integrated programs that attract business and industrial sectors.
