The School of Basic Sciences and Humanities in cooperation with Edraak / Queen Rania Foundation for Education and Development organized a launch ceremony for the first online National Education course on Edraak platform on Tuesday, March 1, 2016.

Speaking at the launch ceremony, Professor Natheer Abu Obeid President of GJU emphasized the importance of launching  the online National education course on Edraak platform at GJU in order to communicate with various segments of society, especially students at Jordanian universities.

Abu Obeid added that there is a real problem in communication between university students, and the initiative will improve the communication and link it with citizenship.

Haifa Dia Al Attia, CEO of Queen Rania Foundation, said that Her Majesty Queen Rania has a vision to put Jordan at the top of competitive positions in the world through  enabling youth  fulfill their potential and aspirations, and that is exactly what the  initiative aiming to. It creates a new reality in which to enable the needed change for the advancement of education so giving a chance to a thousand of students to take advantage of high-quality educational services.  

She also expressd Edraak’s pride of joining about half a million Arabs , who would love to learn and read through our platform, and now the GJU students are joining  Edraak’s learners through the first online National Education course on Edraak platform.    

The Dean of the School of Basic Sciences and Humanities Prof. Nabil Ayoub assured on the importance of that initiative in order to improve  the quality of education and its positive impact in the communities.

The President Abu.Obeid , the CEO of Queen Rania Foundation Haifa Dia Al Attia and Prof. Nabil ayoub  thanked the GJU team who was working on this intaitive Dr. Safa Al-Shweihat , Dr. Abdullah Raqqad and Mr. Adel Hawatmeh.
