On Monday, April 1, 2019, The German Jordanian University (GJU) organized a lecture on the Jordan Academy for Arabic in order to introduce the establishment, vision, mission, goals and achievements of the Academy to the students and employees at the university.

The editor at the Academy Nabeel Hariz explained the role of the Academy in protecting the Arabic language from loss and reviving it in society. Pointing out that the language is a civilized link between nations.

He added that one of the most important goals for the Academy is to preserve the integrity of the Arabic language and revive the Arab and Islamic heritage, as well as encouraging the authorship, translation and publication. Stressing that no nation can rise and continue without language because it’s the identity and the origin.

At the end of the lecture, which was attended by the Dean of the School of Basic Sciences and Humanities (SBSH) Dr. Akeel Al-Kazwini, Vice Dean Dr. Haytham Thawabih and members of the Academic Staff, a dialogue with students on the importance of preserving the Arabic language and the role of individuals and communities in it.
