Mayor of Dhiban Nasr Al-Rawahneh, in the presence of Deputy Mayor Khaldoun Al-Jama’in and member of the municipal council, Ramah Al-Hawatmeh, visited the German Energy Academy in Jordan at the German Jordanian University in order to review the courses offered by the academy and discuss ways of cooperation in a number of issues of concern to the local community.
The Coordinator of the Academy project and a faculty member in the School of Natural Resources Engineering and its Management (SNREM), Dr. Aiman Al-Batanieh, gave an explanation about the Jordanian-German partnership in the field of energy, which aims to train and raise the efficiency of technicians and engineers in the field of innovative and sustainable energy technology, indicating the importance of the courses offered, including the energy efficiency course offered by the university In obtaining theoretical and practical knowledge in the field of energy efficiency, management and energy auditing, which qualifies graduates to obtain a job opportunity in Germany after taking the exam approved by the German Chamber of Industry and Commerce (AHK).
The meeting was attended by the Assistant President for Campus Affairs, Dr. Omar Al-Shubailat, the Deputy Dean of Student Affairs, Dr. Mustafa Jaradat, and Ahmed Manasa from the Local Community Service Office, where they discussed ways of cooperation and participation in workshops, volunteer work, training youth in the academy, providing job opportunities through university partnerships, and many issues that interest of both parties.
