The German Jordanian University and Jordan Green Building Council (JordanGBC) signed a memorandum of understanding aimed at cooperation between the two sides in the fields of student training, scientific research and training courses.
The memorandum, which was signed on behalf of GJU, its president, Prof. Ala’aldeen Al-Halhouli, and on behalf of the Council, its president, Eng. Abdullah Bdeir, stipulated the exchange of experiences in environmental design and energy conservation for individuals, buildings, training and educational services, and raising awareness through campaigns, workshops and awareness sessions.
The memorandum also sought to the participation of university students and employees in the projects and initiatives held by the Council within the green platform, which includes constructive discussions between institutions and individuals from the government and private sectors.
