The Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Adel Al-Twaisi, sponsored the awards ceremony of the Engineering Graduation Projects Competition for the year 2016.
The awards ceremony was organized by the Jordan Engineers Association and Amman Chamber for Industry at the Landmark Hotel on Saturday 18 March 2017. Dr. Ziad Abuelrub, An assistant Professor at SAMS and head of GJU Industrial Relations Committee, was honored twice by the minister, first for supervising the first prize graduation project in Chemical Engineering, and second, for his participation in the arbitration of the chemical industrial projects.
Dr. Ibrahim Al Tarawneh, a visiting Associate Professor at SAMS was honored as a member of the organizing committee of the competition.
