The Euro-Jordanian Advanced Business Institute (EJABI) the training division of Amman Chamber of Industry, signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Consultation and Training Center / GJU, on Wednesday the1st of January 2017, to reinforce the mutual collaboration in consulting and training courses area.   

Chairman Senator Ziad Homsi said, that the chamber is working to become a leading and scientific center specialized in developing human forces, to strengthen the industrial section’s abilities by offering a set of high quality training courses to its members, to teach them new and various skills, not only in Jordan but, in the region’s countries as well.

Al Homsi also pointed out, that training is very important nowadays, and to catch up with scientific, technological developments and knowledge growth, especially with the constant need to learn new skills and specialties in managerial and industrial fields.

He added that, they are looking forward to utilize from the expertise of the GJU’s academic staff in the field of training at the institution.

Prof. Natheer Abu Obeid, GJU’s president said, that among many strategies at the university they look to build up a new partnership with national industrial sector, to create training opportunities for students to help them find an appropriate jobs after graduation.

He also hoped that this memo could set an example to other academic institutions, because of its importance toward human forces in building and providing them with suitable qualifications and skills to fulfill a position in the marketplace, and eventually lead to a better service for country and community.

Dr. Maher Al Mahrouq, GM of (Ejabi), said that the institution will witness this year a shift in quality for the industrial section training courses, based on a strategic plan which was set last year.

These training courses will consist of Marketing courses, product design, and the use of social media for marketing and sales, besides a training course in occupational health and safety, he assured that the institution gives the priority to the high qualified Jordanian trainers, especially teachers in universities.
