On Wednesday, November 14, 2018, the German Jordanian University (GJU) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), in the presence of the President of GJU Prof. Manar Fayyad and Commander of the Royal Air Force Major General Pilot Yousef Al- Hunaiti.
The MoU that was signed by the Dean of the School of Natural Resources Engineering and Management (SNREM), Dr. Munjed Al Sharif and Prince Faisal Technical College Commandant Breg. Gen.Firas Obiedat aims at Developing Renewable Energy Curriculums, Training of Trainers and Joint Project Partnership”.
Both parties agreed on developing joint research proposals and projects in the areas of vocational training, higher education, energy research, develop curriculum and study plans in the field, technical support, practical training services for trainers and instructors, utilize of the Energy Engineering Department’s academic laboratories and benefit from the expertise of the university.
The MoU will advance renewable energy efforts and education in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan. The ultimate goal of signing this MoU is the national stewardship and community responsibility.
