The German Jordanian University and Tkiyet Um Ali signed an agreement for cooperation and joint understanding to strengthen the cooperation between the two sides in the volunteer and social fields.

 

The agreement that was signed by Dr.Yousef Abdullat Dean of Student Affairs on behalf of the GJU, and Mr. Samer Balkar the general manager on behalf of Tikiyyat Um Ali, stated that both parties would cooperate to implement joint social activities to support the activities of Tkiyet Um Ali and help to achieve its goals in terms of the fight against hunger and support poor families.

 

According to the agreement, the university students and faculty members of GJU will work voluntarily at various academic programs to promote voluntary work culture among the groups of the society, particularly young people.

 

The agreement also included holding training programs, workshops and lectures to raise awareness of the activities of Tkiyet Um Ali and its role in the fight against poverty and hunger.

 

 Knowing that Tkiyet Um Ali currently supports 18,300 families that are below the food poverty line, in all cities of Jordan. The families receive monthly parcels containing 22 food items, which meet the food requirements of the family throughout the month.
