Under the patronage of the German Jordanian University President Prof. Natheer Abu Obeid, the School of Architecture and Built Environment (SABE) inaugurated the Architecture and Design Days ( Dag Almani ) , which took place in the frame of Jabal Amman Culture Week 4 celebrations. 

Jabal Amman Cultural week 4 which is celebrating Jabal Amman’s heritage, vibrant present and future as the heart of the capital and the meeting point of diverse cultural activities was organized by Abdul Hameed Shoman Foundation (AHSF) in cooperation with Jara Association under the patronage of Greater Amman Municipality and in partnership with the German Jordanian University and another organizations and centers like Zaha Cultur Center, the Jordanian publishers, the Royal Film commission and many others.

The event was held in the presence of GJU Vice President Prof. Manar Fayyad, Dean of SABE Dr. Ziyad Haddad, and some of SABE academic members as well as SABE students.

Prof. Abu Obeid expressed the university’s proud of this partnership with Abdul Hameed Shoman Foundation (AHSF), hoping to conduct further cooperation in future. He also highlighted the importance of this event that reflects our GJU students work and efforts and also the pride of our Jordanian Culture, especially Jabal Amman and the downtown; the heritage attraction point.  

During his welcoming note , Dr. Ziyad  expressed his gratitude to the GJU and its President Prof. Abu Obeid in supporting the SABE activities continuously, and that GJU takes pride of the respectable reputation and distinguished graduates who representing their country and contributing to their society. 

The President Prof. Abu Obeid had an overview about the exhibitions in which SABE students presented their projects and galleries in photography, architecture and design.

The event was termed  of Dag Almnai , which  represents a part of the Jordanian Culture in Irbid –Ramtha , and it included several activities; fit-cross activities , competitions , singing in addition to playing some traditional and national songs.
