On Monday, June 28, 2021, Culture Minister Ali Al-Ayed inaugurated Madaba’s Third Art Exhibition at the German Jordanian University (GJU), Within the national plan for the centennial celebration of the Jordanian state, in the presence of the President of GJU, Prof. Manar Fayyad, Madaba Governor Ali Al-Madi, Parliament members Rahim Al-Ma’ayah and Majd Al-Yacoub.

Al-Ayed said that the exhibition reflects the reality of our society, culture, and journey, appreciating the efforts of the artists and the enthusiasm of GJU's family to host the event.

For his part, Director of Madaba's Culture, Mohammad Al-Azaydeh, said that holding the exhibition at the German University comes as an affirmation of the expressive cultural role through drawing national paintings that mimic the days of the beautiful homeland.

Al-Ayed toured the exhibition, which included 69 paintings by 23 male and female artists, accompanied by the President of the German Jordanian University, Dr. Manar Al-Fayyad, guests, and participating artists.

At the end of the ceremony, certificates of appreciation were distributed.
