On his first official visit to Germany, the President of the German Jordanian University, Prof. Ala’aldeen Al-Halhouli, visited Al-Hikma Thymoorgan. The visit came within the framework of the university’s endeavor to strengthen its strategic partnerships with the German industrial sector.

During the visit, Dr. Al-Halhouli met with the company's officials, the GJU current trainee students, and ten graduates who were attracted by al-Hikma to work with them in Germany.

In addition, Dr. Al-Halhouli met with the director of the company and the directors of quality control, manufacturing, and human resources, where they discussed ways to develop the relationship between the two sides and mechanisms for strengthening it in the fields of applied scientific research with faculty members, graduation projects for students, employment of the graduates, and increasing trainees of current students.

Furthermore, Dr. Al-Halhouli pointed out that the visit embodies the university’s strategic vision to be internationally recognized as an Applied Science University, to be a leader in education, research, innovation, and entrepreneurship, also to stand out as a role model in strengthening the bridges between Germany and Jordan. He mentioned that GJU would continue to develop its personnel to be citizens for lifelong learning in a global society through applied education and research, enhanced German dimension, and industrial involvement in an enabling environment to satisfy international educational quality standards.

Dr. Al-Halhouli emphasized that the visit was fruitful, as the company’s managers expressed their admiration for the successes and achievements of GJU. They also praised the level of its students and graduates as they occupy positions in vital departments such as maintenance, computer center, supply and calibration, quality, accounting, and management.
