The German Jordanian University celebrated the 8th Graduation Ceremony for the Professional Diploma in Vision Rehabilitation under the patronage of His Royal Highness Prince Ra'ad bin Zeid, and in the presence of her Royal Highness, Princess Majida Ra'ad and Prof. Natheer Abu. Obeid, President of GJU.  

In his speech, HRH Prince Ra’ad praised the GJU’s effort in improving all kind of services and facilities through providing professional teachers to support people with disabilities, especially people with low vision.  

He also emphasized that this program empowers people with disabilities, help children in different countries, and ensure a better life for them in their societies and countries.

For his part, Prof. Natheer Abu Obeid asserted that GJU is keen to support and develop  the Vision Rehabilitation Program since it has been an effective contribution to serve the local community and help people with disabilities. He also expressed his gratitude to HRH Prince Ra’ad bin Zeid  for his keenness in supporting  this unique and important education in the kingdom to help people with disabilities . 

For her part Dr. Nathalie Bussieres, Director of the Vision Rehabilitation Program, gave a brief introduction about the remarkable achievements of the program during 2015 and displayed a short video.  

The two students, Suzan Abd-Al Wahab from Jordan and Nilson Tshwa  from Uganda, gave remarks at the ceremony and expressed their appreciation to the support of HRH Prince Ra’ad bin Zeid for this program.

At the end of the ceremony HRH Prince Ra’ad bin Zeid distributed the certificates to the graduates, who were 6 students from Jordan and Uganda.
