Amman- 24 November 2019

Students from the School of Applied Humanities and Languages (SAHL) at the German Jordanian University (GJU) visited the Martyr's Memorial on November 21, 2019. The visit aimed to introduce the students to the historical side of the memorial and to show them how the Jordanian military promotes and safeguards such a national gem.

Dr. Suleima Al Rababah- from the Jordanian Military- and his colleagues welcomed the students and gave them a brief overview of the general role of the memorial in the Kingdom.

Thereafter, the students were given the chance to ask questions about how the memorial functions as a military and historical learning hub.

At the end of the visit, the students were invited to a brief tour of the memorial's museum, where they were also given brief presentations on each of the displays in the museum both in terms of general historical information.
